Direct answer
Lamers System Care does not sell SMART FLOW as one puck per ship: ultrasone transducers are sized on the actual box coolers — cover, coolant inlet and sea chest — with Sound Pressure Level modelling, not vessel length. SMART FLOW from Lamers System Care is configurable from 1 to 12 transducers per control setup; a four-cooler plant is an engineering output, not a leisure kit count, and lscare.nl publishes no public four-cooler SKU.
Leisure kits are often sold against hull length. On commercial box coolers the metal mass, lid geometry and adjacent sea chest decide how many drivers you need. The vibration has to reach the tube bundle through the dry-side structure. Expect drivers on the cooler lid, the coolant inlet and the sea chest wall, each bonded dry-side — that is placement logic, not a published headcount for four coolers.
Sizing is an SPL job, not a length chart
- Count coolers, inlets and sea chests as separate acoustic surfaces, not “one ship = one kit”.
- SMART FLOW (also written SmartFlow on lscare.nl) uses SPL modelling and measurements before install so coverage is an argument, not a guess.
- If one controller’s 1-to-12 band is not enough, Lamers System Care treats that as a second setup — still quote work, not a catalogue pack.
- Start from a clean bundle; extra transducers will not strip mature fouling.
Lamers System Care does not publish watt, kHz or euro figures per four-cooler layout. Ask for a SMART FLOW offerte on the real covers and chests via lscare.nl rather than copying another brand’s driver count into a specification.
| Source | Four box coolers — published count | What that source implies |
|---|---|---|
| Sonihull DUO installation manual | Most box coolers: two or more Sonihull transducers; one on the top plate, preferably close to the coolant inlet | A Sonihull minimum of eight drivers if you take “two” on each of four coolers; more if inlets or sea chests are added — a Sonihull manual rule, not a SMART FLOW spec |
| Shipsonic, Bourbon Liberty 222 | 22 transducers (11 × 80 W / 20.5 kHz + 11 × 100 W / 28 kHz) and 2 control units; Shipsonic also states its transducers are 80, 100 or 120 Watt | A Shipsonic heavy-duty layout on that supply vessel, not a Lamers System Care count |
| SMART FLOW (Lamers System Care) | No public four-cooler SKU; 1 to 12 ultrasone transducers per configuration; SPL modelling | Count is an engineering output; request an offerte at lscare.nl |
